About Sabin Bike Bus:
Bike Bus is an ongoing movement to promote biking to school as a safe and joyful experience. Organized entirely by parent volunteers, Sabin Bike Bus happens every Wednesday morning, rain or shine, with the rare exception. There are two routes -- well, two starting points (one North, one South) that converge into one before everyone arrives at school together. Riders are welcome to join anywhere along the route. If you love being outside and pulling weeds is your version of a stress ball, join us on Sunday, September 13, from 9am to noon.

Stay for an hour or the whole time.

Kids welcome.

Bring your own water bottle and garden tools if you have them (push brooms, shovels, clippers, gloves, etc.)

Meet your child’s teachers, see the school, and connect with other Sabin families! Dinner provided.

A portion of restaurant sales will be donated back to the Sabin community!

About Run For Sabin
This friendly, inclusive, non-competitive fun run takes place every fall. In the lead up, students are invited to collect pledges for every quarter-mile lap they can run in 30 minutes. On the day of the run, students zip around the school perimeter propelled by the pumping sound of music and loud cheers from teachers and families alike. By the time our runners cross that finish line, laps are counted, medals are bestowed, and a significant amount of the PTA's annual budget has been raised.

About Mt. Readmore

Each year, our risk-taking Sabin students reach new heights by logging their reading efforts over a 2- to 3-week period. Our number one goal is to collectively read 100,000 minutes to reach the summit of Mt. Readmore while celebrating literacy, all the while raising funds to support Sabin. The classroom of top readers is awarded a highly coveted root beer float party!
