Back to School Night

EARLY FALL

This community event is typically a September gathering of students, their loved ones, teachers, and the administration to share a meal, music, and to get (re)acquainted with Sabin. Organized by the school with support from PTA, the event gives parents and caregivers the opportunity to tour the school, see their child’s classroom, meet their child’s teacher, and get to know other Sabin community members.

Run For Sabin

FALL

Typically in October, this annual fun run has Sabin students zipping around campus in quarter-mile laps, propelled by the pumping sound of music and loud cheers from teachers and families alike. By the time our runners cross that finish line, laps are counted, medals are bestowed, and a significant amount of the PTA's annual budget has been raised.

Dine Out For Sabin

YEAR-ROUND

Dine Out nights are community-building events that double as fundraisers. Sabin community members are invited to grab a meal at a specific local restaurant on a specific date, and the restaurant donates a portion of its sales to the Sabin PTA. New dates and locations are released throughout the year.

Check the calendar for dates.

Mt. Readmore

LATE FALL

Each year, our risk-taking Sabin students reach new heights by logging their reading efforts over a two-week period. Our number one goal is to collectively read 100,000 minutes to reach the summit of Mt. Readmore while celebrating literacy, all the while raising funds to support Sabin. The classroom of top readers is awarded a highly coveted rootbeer float party!

Kick-off Event: Thurs. Nov. 12, 2026
