PTA School of Excellence: Sabin Families, We Want to Hear from You!
The results from the PTA School of Excellence survey have been tabulated. You can view a summary of the results here:
What is this program? Through the National PTA School of Excellence program, PTAs partner with their school's administrators to examine how families feel the school measures up to the research-based indicators of the National Standards for Family-School Partnerships in the following six areas: 1) Welcoming all families into the school community; 2) Communicating effectively; 3) Supporting student success; 4) Speaking up for every child; 5) Sharing power; 6) Collaborating with community.
Based on your responses, the National PTA will provide us recommendations that respond to our specific results from the survey data. School communities then work together to address barriers and create new ways to enrich the educational experience and overall well-being of students through family-school partnerships that leverage community resources to strengthen family engagement in supporting student and school success.
