Students have been working with our garden educator, Julian Dominic, getting the Sabin edible garden ready for winter - putting on its "blanket" of cover crops like rye, buckwheat, straw and leguminous plants. It's time to dig deep and plant the areas that we depaved in August. Thanks to a generous grant from East Multnomah Soil and Water Conservation District, we'll be adding beautiful native plants to areas around the campus and working on our edible garden. Children are welcome to take part. Please
Our annual arts education fundraiser will be happening this Friday, with PE coach extraordinaire Ms Julie Cushing leading the charge. Each class gets a 30 minute window to run as many 1/4 mile laps that they can to raise money from their sponsors.
The money raised will be available for classroom teachers to bring in wonderful arts educators. In the past, we have had international dancers, musicians, puppeteers and actors come to the school. Additionally students have been a
